AVA x RA Present “The Dock”
AVA & Resident Advisor Present: The Dock at AVA Belfast
New for 2025, Resident Advisor will co-curate an all-new stage at AVA Belfast—The Dock.
Paying tribute to Belfast’s iconic Titanic Slipways, where the festival takes place, The Dock is designed as a dockside amphitheatre for dancing. The space will feature layered platforms for dancers, a Funktion-One sound system supplied by Hertz-U Audio and a custom audiovisual rig from Visual Spectrum Studio.
Spanning two days, the lineup includes: 999999999, Job Jobse, Tommy Holohan, Sally C, DJ Fuckoff, Spray Presents Spriitzz Live, Minna No Kimochi, C.FRIM, BASHKKA, Kessler, Cáit, Hannah, Body Clinic, Inside Moves, Optmst, JWY, Matcha, and Sahana. A selection of key sets will be recorded and released as RA Live sessions.
Beyond the music, AVA Belfast 2025 introduces a brand-new arts-focused programme featuring workshops, installations, and guided tours of Belfast, with a full itinerary to be announced in the coming months.
This marks the 11th edition of AVA in Belfast on May 30th & 31st, 2025. Find out more in the event listing, and revisit our feature from last year’s milestone 10th anniversary, featuring interviews with Anz, Flowdan, and more.
AVA x EarthPercent – Charity Fundraising Update
Last year we launched a partnership with EarthPercent, the music industry’s climate foundation, co-founded by Brian Eno and industry professionals with an overarching goal of harnessing the power of music in service of the planet.
Over the course of last year we raised £19,252 for the planet with EarthPercent & You. Huge thanks to anyone who purchased a ticket to one of our 2024 events and playing an active role in this.
Our partnership continues in 2025 as we welcome Jarvis Cocker to AVA London in association with EarthPercent to present a special lecture and performance titled: ‘Biophobia’ – along with another year of fundraising for industry action against climate change. For more information on this visit our London page.
A note on where the funds are going, to ensure maximum impact, EarthPercent’s grant-making is informed by their Expert Advisory Panel of leading climate scientists, policymakers and activists, who identify and fund some of the most effective climate solutions around the world, across five action areas: Greening Music, Just Energy Transition, Protecting & Restoring Nature, Legal & Policy Change, and Climate Justice. Some of the incredible organisations they support include Client Earth, Music Declares Emergency and Youth Climate Justice Fund.
